Hi! I'm Helena Lazaro. Chubby Bunny is borne of my obsession with all things shiny, vintage, or purse-like. Every item here is handmade (or hand-picked!) by me.

I began making jewelry in 7th grade, selling beaded necklaces to my junior high classmates. But it wasn't until 2001 that I started creating it in earnest, working with semi-precious stones and precious metals. [You can see the finer things section for original pieces made using these materials.]

However, there were so many great vintage components out there that I decided to create a new, different line of jewelry...one that was fun, inexpensive, and unique.

And somewhere along the way a lot of other things got added into the mix... accessories, purses, clothing, and the enormous tree-trunk full of vintage finds that I've been squirreling away for so long.

Then I wanted a place to share these unique trinkets with everyone...and so, Chubby Bunny was born! I hope that you enjoy visiting my shop, and that you find the perfect little marshmallow to add to your collection.
